Sign up for the class. You will get your own binders to note as you need. You will not be doing any favors for yourself. The team over at EET puts in a lot of effort in providing these courses and materials. Pay for their course and their efforts. You will not be disappointed.

Also, the binders were helpful for the paper and pencil exam. I can't tell you how EET will prepare for the CBT. You should register and give them the chance to teach you properly. I'm not an instructor and that's a special skillset. Let them do the work to prepare you for the CBT.
