I have some books for sale that helped me pass the PE test on my first try.
-Six Minute Solutions for Civil PE exam, Structural Problems, 2nd edition by Christine Subasic - $25
-Civil Engineering Sample Questions and Solutions with CD Rev. 1-03 (2003 I think) put out by the NCEES - $25
-Civil PE Sample Examination (2005) by Michael Lindeburg - $25
-Practice Problems for the Civil Engineering PE Exam, A Companion to the Civil Engineering Reference Manual, 10th edition, by Michael Lindeburg - $25
I think there is a new NCEES sample questions and solutions book out, but this one will still be helpful I think. It was definately the best of the four books in my opinion. But the more problems you do, the better. As far as I know, all of the other books are the most recent editions. All books are in great shape. The Lindeburg practice problems book does not really have too many questions in it that resemble the questions you will see on the exam but I worked many of the problems and it helped me get a better understanding of the material. The six minute solutions book for structures was good but the steel problems are only solved using the ASD method. That was my second favorite book of the four. I didn't even open the Sample Examination from Lindeburg so I have no comment on that. But if you have time, I am sure it would be worth it to work some of the problems in there.
Anyway, price inludes shipping via mediamail. I can ship using other methods if you want them sooner, but it will cost more. Buy all four books together and I will ship them UPS for no additional cost.
