Minnesota Exam

Hi,

Has anyone here taken the exam in Minnesota? Where is the exam administered? Any recommendations on hotels? Thanks, -K

The MN exam is typically given in the Minneapolis Convention Center. There are many hotels to stay in around there. A few even are connected via skyway to the convention center.

Yes, I took the SE2 there. It is on Friday and is only offered on a Friday.

Lunch is typically provided by MSPE but there are a few refreshment vendors open during the day in other areas of the convention center. I have seen a few people with McDonalds and Subway too, so there are other options.

Any recommendations on hotels? I'm only a couple hour drive from Minneapolis, but have never been downtown, just to the airport... I guess this is my chance!

I basically just opened up Google earth and tuned on the hotel layer. They seem to be rated ~ok.

I stayed in Doubletree in the suburb (Saint Louis Park), ok price and nice hotel. Took the bus to downtown on exam day.
