Position Title = Manager, Engineering and Design
Education = BS degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical)
Years Experience Required = 8+
Position Description = Creates, reviews, and approves drawings, specifications, and instructions involving existing, modified,
and new products. Ensure that products meet specifications, standards, and performance requirements. Interface with
customers, vendors, and production to resolve design questions.
Qualifications
* Experience in mechanical design of components used in land and offshore oil is a plus.
* The position requires knowledge of mechanical design, stress analysis, manufacturing processes, and the ability to
review drawing and engineering documentation.
* Demonstrates ability to independently create functional & cost effective designs that meet complex specification
requirements. Regularly demonstrates capability for conceptualizing designs.
* The position requires a proficiency in the use of AutoCad, Solid Works, and MS Office.
* Be able to build a design/develop/implementation team to rapidly complete multiple design projects in an efficient and
cost effective method.
* Be able to conceptualize and implement FAT plans.
* Be able to work in a manufacturing plant to resolve problems associated with product production.
