Looking for some well educated guidance. I'm 34, have worked in the new construction and service field as a FLS (fire alarm) technician for 10+ years. Looking to start a college education and have a few questions.
Is the transition from field FLS work to an engineering position a good move, or possible?
What type of BLS should I look into to get a foot up in the FPE position? Recommendations for courses.
What is a day to day role/job duties of a FPE? Is it hands on or meetings/design computer work?
