I was going through my complex imaginary problems 60 volume 3 And I just wanted to know if anybody know how much information should I cover on hvdc system and if any one has seen hvdc type problem on the PE exam .?

If you have Theodore Wildi's Electrical Machines, Drives and Power Systems, turn to pages 796 and 797. He talks about bipolar HVDC transmission systems. Hopefully this will help.

What Wildi edition do u have?? I've 5th edition and I can't find any HVDC on 796 or 797! I've converter assembly figure and current limiting data!
