Miss Argentina

A 38-year-old former Miss Argentina has died from complications after undergoing cosmetic surgery on her buttocks.
Solange Magnano, a mother of twins who won the crown in 1994, died of a pulmonary embolism Sunday after three days in critical condition following a gluteoplasty in Buenos Aires.

Close friend Roberto Piazza said the procedure involved injections and the liquid "went to her lungs and brain."

not to disrespect the deceased, but i think a pic of her buttocks were in order for this story...

I just don't get the whole plastic surgery thing. Why do people feel the need to hide the natural process of aging? Especially when things like this can happen? :dunno:

Plus there is always a possibility that the surgery comes out bad. On failblog I saw a video of botched butt implants. Looked horrible!

Isn't this a big thing in Argentina? That the girls have ALL had plastic surgery. Something tells me it wasn't her first time under the knife. I remember watching a Dr 90210 where a girl got butt implants because she "wanted to look like JLo and model for Playboy." It was gross...the surgeon kept talking about how it's a really dirty part of the body to operate on as he was swathing her with iodine. She also had fat sucked out of her muffin top to make her butt look bigger.

I'm pretty sure the surgery permanently makes the padded toilet seat your ***
