one practice problem is attached. Can someone solve it and explain why the angle is not given here ? Is the readings are from the standard method? The solution will be posted if someone needs.

I passed the PE (transportation afternoon) on my first attempt in April 2007. But sorry, I have never known nor will ever know how to do that problem.

Instrument constants?

Are you kidding me? If every Civil curriculum was like that, there wouldn't be a single male in his 20's in the entire country without a CE degree.

Ooh, true, i didn't even consider the increase in competition in my industry this would cause... Always the business man i see :)

 
Personally, I wish the structural guys would start designing their boiler steel to look like a ****. We wouldn't have all these NCR's for mislocation and anchor bolt deviations if they did, because our survey guys would actually get it right.
