Nice to meet you :)

I am a Mechanical engineer and want to know more engineering tech for devices relating petroleum.

I think it is important to know basic knowledge, so I would like to take FE.

even though I can't use english word well, I believe I will be your good friend one day or other.

raisinbran,

I have a question since I'm Asian too and I have a PE application in NY, I wrote PE CIvil last Oct 2010, if I pass I will look for oppurtunities in NY, I was wondering are PE civil's in demand in NY? if yes, can you give me some suggestions for me to apply there and tips for job hunting in NY? Thanks.

um.. hard question to answer. if you have pe in nys? would you be able to find a job. the short answer "yes". however is it worth it to find a job in nys? depends on where in nys i suppose. I do not know about the other ny aka upstate. however, if you are trying to find a job in the metro area, i will say good luck! with the high rent and about average civil engineer salary? i do not think its worth it to come to nyc. but however shoot me any questions you have at my email address. I will anwer you in detail. ciao.
