This subsidiary produces a range of bespoke capital equipment and innovative products to a worldwide customer base which includes some of the world’s best known brands. Impressive and sustained growth is currently being witnessed and this new role represents an opportunity to join the top team of a highly regarded market leader.The ChallengeReporting to the Site Director with the opportunity to shape and lead a small team, your prime focus will be to ensure that the business meets or exceeds the requirements of customers and all relevant quality standards, procedures and practices throughout the whole business.To ensure a proactive approach to meeting current, pending and future legislation likely to affect this business.To ensure the provision of regular quality reports including trend analysis and appropriate metrics.To work with engineering and production to improve reliability and reduce warranty costs for the business.To liaise proactively with customer contacts and attend customer meetings as required, managing any complaints to ensure a speedy resolution and permanent corrective action.As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will participate fully in the overall management and strategic direction of this standalone business while raising the profile of quality management in this highly customer-centric business.The Candidate:Of graduate calibre, candidates must be Mechanical or Electrical Engineers and should have been trained and had experience of working at Lead Assessor level in ISO 9000 or a similar quality standard in an Engineering and/or Manufacturing context.Strong candidates will have had exposure to a lean manufacturing and ideally capital equipment environment with practical experience in the deployment of such C.I. techniques and methodologies as 5S, Kaizen, TPS, APQP and EFQM.You must have significant experience as a quality professional, some of which must have been gained at management level.As well as being a team leader and player, exposure to a Design for Manufacture environment will also be an advantage.You should have well-developed analytical and influencing skills, together with a collaborative but determined management style.Apply: https://express.candarine.com/campaign/url/forward/f1dd1b27ed66
