live/work buildings are beginning to come up every now and again. There is one in los angeles, is this what you're referring to? Also there are apartment building/suites in high density areas such as los angeles and dallas to name a couple that have some commercial within there luxury apartments. We are currently working with 1 live/work conversion from an existing industrial building.
