Hello there,

Sometimes we are so focused in a goal that is easy to miss the big picture. Take a few minutes today and think about what you have accomplished. You are an engineer so that means you went thru college and did well. You had chance in life and made the most of it. How many people can say that? Many never had, or worst than that, will have chance like that.

The PE is a great thing. I am not going to say that it is not but is the icing on the cake. You already obtained a college degree and probably have a job. Think about all the persons who are out there without a job.

So today, at leat today my friends, pray and thank the Lord for the blessings we have.

Happy Thanksgiving my friends.

Abut the results, forget that today and about the turkey...

Happy gobble day Luis and everyone else !! :+1:

In my house we don't celebrate Thanksgiving until the weekend for a two-fold purpose:

1. It gives yours truly more time to prepare the spread :true: ; and

2. I think I am the only person in the circle of family and friends that come by the house that does not work in the medical profession. Just easier for everyone to get Saturday off instead of Thursday.

This year I am preparing 3 turkeys, 1 honey ham. We host a lot of people, including some single-parent households and households where they wouldn't have the time or $$ to prepare a meal. :D It can be very stressful, but very rewarding seeing everyone enjoying themselves for one afternoon out of the year.

This is the one time of year that I can feel good about the REAL accomplishment in life - giving to others. :???:
