This just showed up in my USAJobs update, looks like the USGS is looking for a Civil Engineer in Columbus, Ohio.http://jobview.usajobs.gov/GetJob.aspx?JobID=89895523&aid=29716392-10810&WT.mc_n=125

Granted a GS-5 does not look very impressive, but unless you're a complete moron it shouldn't take too long to jump up a couple grades. One thing to pay attention to is the part where it says the potential promotion level is a GS-12 which, for Columbus, should start between $70k and go up close to $100k once you hit GS-12 Step 10.
