Well people really need help. I've been studying Motors, Three phase, Power Factor, Transmission, And distribution. I did most of the exercises from the books that explains the topic. I open yesterday the PE review materials from NCEES and I felt like i haven't study anything at all. I went totally blank. Only a few exercises i get it the right way but not much to pass the test. I live in Lexington KY. I'm trying to find now a goooooooood review course because i really need it. Any ideas are you all taking "In class" review courses or taking it online? Soorry for my grammar and spelling but i'm doing too many things at once at my work.

Have a look at this thread. Lots of good discussion and additional links to previous threads discussing review course options. It's not too late either, I remember signing up for the GA Tech online course (PE Power review) and not getting started until the end of August (2010) for the Oct. 2010 exam. Also, as a word of advice, I wouldn't assume that you think you don't know anything because you are drawing a blank. Treat the NCEES problems as another study method. Write down what you do know about the problem and re-state what it is asking. It might lead you into developing the solution. When you say you've been studying, how many problems have you been working? Most book problems are much more in-depth than the NCEES questions. But if you focus on the fundamental concepts, you should be able to tackle most of the NCEES problems. Good luck.

Hi Wildsoldier, I am new to this board and am in the same boat as you. I found the School of PE online and signed up for the online power review course.

They seem to have their act together, and it is not too late to join. The 1st class is September 10.

Good luck!

Honestly the first time I opened the NCEES practice test I didn't know anything and it all looked greek to me.

I just kept plugging away, things started coming back, I started learning things, then I passed.

I don't know why I'm helping you though, you're from Lexington :shakehead:

I enrolled in the GT power PE review. I already watch and review math module. So far so good on that part. I am a little rusty on Differential equations and prob. and statistics but the rest i'm fine on math. I'm starting linear circuits now. Lets see how it goes.
