CTA Inc., a growing and well established MEP consulting engineering company located in Rockville, MD has opening for a talented and team oriented Junior Electrical engineer with 3-7 years experience in the consulting field. Successful Candidate shall have experience in the design of power, lighting and fire alarm system for building in the commercial, institutional and government sectors. Job description will include responsibility for designing projects from conceptual design to final construction. Job Requirement:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. PE license or ability to obtain PE license within 2 years.

3-7 years experience in the design of electrical systems for building construction

Thorough understanding of 120/208 volt and 277/480 volt electrical systems

Thorough knowledge of NEC and building codes

Experience with evaluation of existing facilities and field surveys

Ability to produce clear and detailed electrical building construction documents and specifications

Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, word, & excel

Reliable individual with leadership, problem solving skills, good communication and good organizational skills.

Good client relations and understands customer satisfaction.
