Leading the Engineering Design & Development Team, you’ll oversee a portfolio of projects that deliver more efficient sustainable energy profiling for business customers around the world. You’ll collaborate with teams throughout our organisation, managing budgets and all aspects of design output as you realise creative, sustainable solutions.
The strategy you develop to accomplish your team’s goals—and those of the wider business—will be important in connecting people to good energy, while making a profit. Innovative sustainable energy is at the very heart of what we do, so your work will have a major bearing on our long-term business development and financial performance.
You’ll be ahead of the game in all aspects of your role here—with latest industry developments and equally when it comes to our customer requirements. This is your chance to set a new precedent with the work you do—here, you’ll have the backing and the budget to really make an impact.
What we need from you

Mentoring and sharing knowledge, you’ll drive our culture by showing others how to have a measurable impact with the work they do.
You’ll have a degree in a relevant subject or an HND/experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and proven abilities in solution delivery that you’ll be keen to share with us—because this is going to be more than just a job for you. Delivering the Net Carbon Future will be your life’s work and you put the work in to get yourself here—even if you haven’t taken the path well-trodden.
A clear and engaging communicator, you’ll be able to make the finer points of energy profiling understandable to audiences across the board. Your passion for what you do will really shine through in the presentations you deliver, too, so that you can secure the buy-in you need for your ideas to flourish—bring them to E.ON and make the world a better place.
