Anyone who has a degree and wants to work, can find a job in the gas industry of some sort.

have to be willing to locate to the shale plays.

Of course, it is rough, long hours, etc. but pays really well.

We have opening after opening for environmentals, civil, but mostly mechanical project engineers / managers.

For the next 10 years in the Gulf region, if you don't have a job, you don't want to work.

I wanted to be a biomedical engineer but genetics kicked my ass. I fell back to mechanical engineering where I could actually see what was going on.
