Mark Suben, the Cortland County district attorney, said today he acted in pornographic movies in the 1970s.

The funny thing about this is that back in the eighties, a local full service station (they were dying out fast then) hired a guy that acted in adult films in the late seventies. They fired him the first day. Every time he almost got a tank filled, he yanked the nozzle out and sprayed gas all over the back of the car.

I remember when you filled the gas tank through the port on the back side of the car...behind the license plate. I was probably 12 or 13 before my dad got rid of that car.

I remember the days of full blown service stations myself. Not sure what prompted the change from mechanic's shop to convenience stores. I guess when you're filling up before heading out of town, more people wanted a soda and a bag of chips than a new muffler.

Cars became more reliable and required less maintenance.

Only engineers can turn a thread about a porn star into a thread about car maintenance.

I'm guessing he never made much money calling shots like that.

I love you Capt.

As long as he misses my hood, I'm happy. Washing gas out of hair is no fun.
