DC Motors and single phase motors

Below are the NCEES topics related to motors.  I did not see any DC motors. Also, I do not see single phase AC motors. Induction and synchronous machines are AC poly-phase  motors and generators. Correct? 

Does that mean DC motors as well as single phase AC motors are not included in the syllabus?

I would say that both DC motors and single-phase motors are fair game. The specifications don't mention single or three-phase machines so in my opinion, you can't rule them out.
