Hi Everyone,

I have got my FE result for April 2011 and fortunately I passed the test and I am looking forward to apply for the PE. I took my FE in CALIFORNIA and now I would like to take my PE Test in CONNECTICUT STATE. I have MS in Civil Engineering and over 5 years of experience.

My question is ...

1) How do I submit the proof of passing my EIT to CT Board for PE application as I have got just a letter from CA board that they will send me my Certificate in 4-6 weeks? Is that letter from CA Board is okay to submit with PE application or not?

2) Can any one refer me the depth specific subject choice...I am leaning toward either Transportation or Geotech....Although I have my MS in Civil Engineering (Construction Management), I am not too sure about the level of difficulty for Construction Depth in the afternoon....

Can anyone help me out with this?....Any suggestions??

I will appreciate your reply.

Thanks for reading.

Download the application form from the CT Boards website (google for the link). In the end of the application form there are additional forms including a form to report your EIT proof of passing. Fill in the form and add any applicable fees and mail it to your California Board. They have to fill it in and send it to CT board directly. CT wont accept any proof directly from you.

The PM depth subject should be based on what you feel comfortable. I took Transportation initially and could not master the questions on traffic safety and changed the depth to Construction and passed. It is upto you about what you feel is easier.

Good Luck.
