I thought "internal generated voltage" means the Induced stator voltage Eo which is Eo=E+Ex. But in the solution, it is solving for the Voltage drop Ex. Thoughts?

Maybe because the generator is not loaded? And that is why E=0? That being said, are we going assume like this on every problem even the problem did not state that it is unloaded?
