Question: What is the voltage drop at a distance of 175 ft from the secondary of delta -wye connected transformer (34.5kV-480V). The line impedance per 1000 ft is (0.062+j 0.041)? Line current is 200<25 Amp.

-I could never get it right. Seems CI has the wrong answer.....

What version of CI do you have??

I am getting (2.6 <59.5)

This is for one phase of three.

Using 480 volts they are getting phase voltage

Of 277 and 2.6/277=.93% or

For line voltage. 4.5/480

I think CI is right.

In my version, CI's solution is 0.28%. Obviously wrong!

Seems like the voltage drop would of been calculated from the 3 phase (1.0%) rather than the single phase (.93%).

Yep, my version has the wrong answer. I have calculated as 0.94% drop.
