Application Status in PA?

Has anyone heard back from Pennsylvania whether they have been approved to take the PE exam? I submitted my application in early June and still no word...

I've had an unchecked box for "Board Approved to Test" for almost a full 2 months now...been checking PCS almost every day. Is PA always this slow??

You will get an email from PA board and PCS once you are approved to scheduled payment...

You will get an email from PA board and PCS once you are approved to scheduled payment...

+1, save your F5 button until after the test, just assume you were accepted and start studying.

so a friend of mine recently told me that he applied for reciprocity in PA. He passed the PE in NJ in October '13. Apparently, PA does not accept limited design experience which is offset by a MS. They require a mandatory 4 years of experience. No deviation, even with an outside state license. AND, the experience is apparently counted from the date of the certificate, not the date which you took and passed the exam (FE).

So? If he did research for a licensed professor he should be able to count that as work experience.

So? If he did research for a licensed professor he should be able to count that as work experience.

according to him, they count nothing from the time as a grad student.

there are some states that are super picky like that....not that that is a bad thing.

PA is super picky about that stuff...a lot of my friends took the PE in Delaware to avoid the "you have to be an EIT for 4 years before applying for the PE" rule in PA. Thankfully I found out on August 22 that I was approved to take the test! And I just got my letter in the mail last week.
