I only know NY passed the dateline but the CA haven't (7/20/2009)

Thanks... but CA is an awful long trip from the East Coast and has extra helpings of Seismic and Land Surveying.

NC has an August 1st deadline

Take a look at Delaware. At least, the deadline for first time applicants for the FE is September 1. The PE deadline also might not have passed yet.
