MD PDH requirements for first 2 years

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could clarify the PDH requirements for the first 2 years--it seems like you don't need any, does that mean during the first renewal you don't need to do anything? I want to make sure i'm understanding that correctly. So you basically have 4 years to do the...

Sharing Computer Based Exam (CBT) experience - PE Mechanical Engineering

Yes you can skip questions, my suggestion is you go through the exam and answer the questions you know and guess  on questions you don’t know-let’s say “a” if you think you can come back and work it out “b” if you might be able to work it out and “c” if you have no clue.  You would hit the...

Sharing Computer Based Exam (CBT) experience - PE Mechanical Engineering

Alright my turn—first, I appreciate all the feedback from the prior test takers, here’s my two cents on the TFS exam though it is fairly similar to others experience.   1. Overall difficulty level? Medium, I felt the AM portion was more difficult with more of what I’d consider minor topics...

    TFS-2020 CBT

Sharing Computer Based Exam (CBT) experience - PE Mechanical Engineering

JG3, Thank you for the feedback! I’m appalled that the table of contents didn’t work for you...that’s pretty major for making things go quickly during the search, did NCEES respond, and did you ask the Vue Pearson staff if this could be fixed? All the best for your test results!

    HVAC or TFS exam?

Unfortunately, looking back at the exam specs and even the course material for testmasters, TFS has the same study sections except there is an advanced HVAC portion and then a separate steam section for TFS..my job covers both and to be honest “advanced HVAC” seems like something you learn on...

    HVAC or TFS exam?

Thanks for the feedback...for the dr Tom’s course did you feel like you still needed to do problems from the MERM or other books to get a more thorough review? I took the Testmasters course and although it was a good general course it certainly wasn’t extensive for problem solving and I feel...

    HVAC or TFS exam?

I’ve looked up this question a few different places but not sure if I’ve seen someone in the same situation. I didn’t pass the HVAC test in October and was wondering if I should change to TFS this year. I do HVAC design reviews in my job (QA type stuff) and basic load analysis, so on a day to...

PE Mechanical: HVAC & Refrigeration Exam

I agree that the afternoon was easier but I felt like I studied for the wrong exam during the morning session—don’t have high hopes.
