This is exactly the strategy I used for the transportation exam. The tabbing was extremely vital. Hammering through all of the material I was familiar with and could knock out in 1-2 minutes left ample time to pick through the remaining questions.

I had the green one from October 2018. I actually gave it away to a co-worker when they needed a pencil because I wasn't paying attention and they brought it back and told me to keep it 😁. Now it is sitting comfortably on the frame that my certificate is in. I should have grabbed both of them...

If I remember right, they quoted us for 8-10 weeks for the Fall 2018 exam results and we ended up getting them in 6. Hopefully they are fast again this go round.

Here is where I found that information lol. Googled it to make sure I wasn't full of it and couldn't find anything but was able to find mentioning of it on this board somewhere.

That's the way ours was for the October 2018 exam. We essentially napped in the hallway regretting not drinking a second cup of coffee. So frustrating.

Honestly, it could go either way. I felt fairly confident during the test, but then flipped back and forth between "doom and gloom", and "I nailed it"  every 20 minutes or so for the next six weeks. Fortunately my  initial confidence was correct!

Remember to also check your states licensee roster constantly. I found out in October that I had passed that way, never received an email and had to wait an additional 2 days for the letter and certificate to show up in the mail. Although this is cautionary, I just read about back when PA...

Still no email, but did receive the physical copy of the certificate and notification letter this weekend. I will update whenever we do finally receive the email for South Dakota. 

Well, South Dakota’s has not officially released. However, I am now in their database of license lookups with a PE Number and an active status. I passed!

South Dakota must still be using typewriters or something at this point.
