    EET Course Discussion

I took Structures but I kept the binder as is and left the notes and practice problems where they were because I knew I could get to them quickly. I had another binder of just practice exams and other notes and equations. I would put all of your solved practice problems and exam solutions...

    Failing Blues - Advice/Recommendations?

What this guy said is spot on. I had to take it twice before passing. The first time I walked out of the exam I knew I failed but hey I knew what I needed to do the second time. Use that as a building block to study next time. I took EET on demand breadth and live webinar depth the second time...

    One Week Out!!!

Good luck to everyone taking it this week. My word of wisdom would be to bring a jacket or sweatshirt as well as a water bottle and gum. Keep calm and keep comfortable. DO NOT get hung up on one problem you think you know where it is, skip it and get it on the way back.

    Conceptual Questions Civil PE

I actually used my EET notes and the CERM quite a bit for conceptual questions. Surprisingly there were a bunch of questions that were just look up's...you had to know where they were to find them.

Louisiana Lapels Application Timeline with New Method

Thanks man! I’m guessing you had a least 4 years under that 1 PE that you got your reference? Or did they count the others as progressive experience.

Louisiana Lapels Application Timeline with New Method

Congrats! What exactly did you change when you resubmitted? I'm probably going to be in a similar situation as the PE I was working under has retired and is in very bad health so getting his direct signature was out of the question.

    Practice Exam Resources

Bring OSHA, it may be a look up question that you wish you had printed. If you don't have access to it pm me and I'll forward you what I have. I agree AAHSTO and PCI were 1-2 questions max.

The best advice I can give those who are getting ready to take the exam

I have to say this is a great topic and exactly what I went through. I ended up passing my second time Civil Structural after taking EET. The key in my passing the second time would be... 1) Taking an online class. What this does is keep you accountable not only because you paid for the class...

EET Course (Civil PE, Transportation Depth) - for April 2019 exam

Talking to people on this forum and from what I read it's the best value depth class. I used a friends old notes the first time I took it and failed. Signed up for EET and passed.

    EET Advice

I read the exact same things last year when I failed in the fall (1st attempt) School of PE was great for the morning but lousy for the afternoon. I took EET for the spring...both breadth and depth and passed (2nd attempt). I did on demand for morning and live webinar for the depth because...

The ones who passed tell us how you did.

Civil/Structural 2nd time Pass Morning - I felt confident I got about 34. There were 3-4 that was 50/50 on and 2-3 that I just guessed. Afternoon - I felt confident I got about 24. There were about 6-7 where I narrowed it down to 50/50 and about 7-8 where I just flat up guessed. The two keys...

    April 2019 Results Map

I also took EET Structural for both AM and PM. I do agree that they did focus on indeterminate analysis and force/load effects far too much but it allowed me to view numerous examples which helped conceptually. They were great on both Steel and Concrete which it seems the depth focuses most...

APRIL 2019 RESULTS - PE CIVIL - STRUCTURAL

Louisiana, Passed. Anyone readying this, please give EET a look. As the poster above me said I walked out of the morning feeling like I got 35-36 correct with no hesitations. Their notes were almost exclusively what I used during the exam and the practice problems were invaluable.

I failed last fall and passed this spring. I took EET this spring, would definitely recommend it for the afternoon.
