Writing the Seismic from another state

Two of my references were from one company (10 months) and the other two were from another (2 months).

Writing the Seismic from another state

I'm not sure about the first question since I passed the PE first. Since I had a master's degree, I was able to just document 12 months of experience from 4 references. :)

Release of PE license for January month

I got a paper certificate as well. I didn't know we would be getting a plastic card! I took the surveying exam in January and the seismic exam in February.

I just got my physical license in the mail. Based on your timeline, I'm assuming we should be receiving that email soon!

Release of PE license for January month

I sent an email to a BPELSG Evaluator to confirm if this is true. They said we don't need to provide a notice of successful national examination form. We just have to wait. Their email is a bit confusing. They said a temporary license will be issued. Are we going to have to pay for a renewal...

    January 2019 Test Results

Thanks! You too! I used the EET surveying book. I would say the real exam is slightly harder than what is shown in the EET book. I heard Reza's book is pretty good too. Are you taking the EET course right now? What do you think?

CA Seismic Practice Exams - Difficulty

I just took the seismic exam and I think I have a good chance at passing it! The "Fundamentals of Seismic Analysis and Design of Buildings" and "Practice Exams for the California Seismic Principles Civil PE Examination" were extremely helpful. I was surprised to see examples/drawings in the...

    EET Surveying Course

It is kind of hard to say. I want to say 100-125 hours. I bought the course in September and ended up studying for about one hour a day after work, skipping some weekdays and weekends. I usually tend to spread out my studying rather than cramming in the last two weeks. I went through the EET...

    EET Surveying Course

I just took the surveying exam and it was harder than I expected. The EET Surveying material covered a lot but the practice questions seemed simpler. When I took the EET practice exams, I felt more exhausted at the end because there were so many math questions. On the other hand, the real exam...

    Hiner vs. EET

I'm actually taking the EET on-demand webinar right now and it is super organized! I can see over 50 hours of videos from both the Fall 2018 and Spring 2018 sessions including their workshops. There are 3 practice exams in a book that were shipped to me and simulation exams online. The lectures...

    Seismic Reference Materials

Maybe I am wrong, but I thought Dr. Ibrahim said in one of his lectures that we only need the EET's Fundamentals of Seismic Analysis and Design of Buildings in addition to his cheat sheets since all the necessary tables are in these materials.

Everything you wanted to know about the CA-Survey/Seismic Civil PE Exams

I'm looking at the Prometric website and it says: You are permitted to bring as many reference materials into the testing room as one trip and one box (e.g. Bankers Box) will permit. Boxes larger than 10"H x 15"W x 24"D will not be permitted. Am I able to carry a few binders by hand or do I...
