IMO for ASCE tab chapters 11 & 12 and become so familiar with them that you won't need tabs within them. Tab chapters 26-30 and the qz/h equation and it's variables. You'll know what to tab as you work through practice problems.

Illinois is typically a little behind other boards so you'll likely see other ppl posting here before results will be availavle in Illinois. That being said IL ppl can sheck their NCEES account, continental testing services, and IDFPR license lookup. Any of the three could update and show...

I wonder if release is next week because of the "problem" questions on the exam. They may be dealing with their post grading analysis and how to deal with those questions.... And waiting to see who spams their chat.

There will be AM questions that require it and the PM may heavily need it or it may not. You might be able to get by if you have good study reference material AND get lucky on the AM/PM topics but you would be taking a real gamble not having it.

I'm a buildings guy and am discouraged and feel stuck on the lateral exam, I don't know what my problem is. I passed vertical in April 2019 through self study using PPI's STERM manual, their practice exam, and the NCEES practice exam. I tried the same for lateral in October 2019 and got 27/40...

The only way to be sure would be to email the IL SE board liaison. I do know from reading some of the meeting minutes that they were discussing allowing ppl to take the exam before the 4 year mark so maybe they would let you take it since you are close. Everything is up in the air right now due...

For fellow IL takers, I contacted CTS.

I was scheduled to take lateral in IL, just got the official cancelation email.

Illinois/CTS is really beginning to frusturate me. How long does it take to update their own files with Pass/Unacceptable? Do any other IL ppl out there understand the relationship between the SE board and CTS and/or the reasons for the delayed release?

I'm still waiting on my results but I figure I'll feel the same whenever it happens. I can't help but be slightly embittered by this process and I can already feel the cost of the journey diminishing any future celebration...
