I thought surveying questions were fine, except time was tight to check them over. Seismic sucked on the other hand. Time was very tight for me, probably because I didn't take the time to review my study material the week of the exam. I don't really care though, it's all about passing the...

After going through the "the other board" materials... I think the only "good" book they have is the two sample surveying exams. I suggest going to www.surveyingreview.com, buying Mahallati's practice book, then buying the latest edition of "Elementary Surveying: An Introduction to Geomatics"...

Each of those disciplines can further break down into many more specialties. I'm a geotech, but I dont work in foundations or soils engineering (I focus in large underground structures and tunneling) It'd be hard to quantify which one has the "best" opportunities, ultimately it comes down to...

I suggest looking for something better. Although I haven't taken the real exam yet, even in doing my sample questions from various sources I find that the Cuomo book lacks the info for many questions. It hits most of the baselines, but it doesn't cover enough to make me comfortable relying on it.
