You got a point there. Once I realized that questions like that one could be anywhere else in the test, I hope I didn't overthink or overcomplicate other simple questions as well  :huh:

Man I remember this question as well. Curious to know what the right answer was.  I had NCEES practice exams for 2001, 2008, 2014. They did a wonderful job of getting me ready with my timing, not being panicky when you see stuff that you have to look up in references...I spent every weekends...

Not only Fitbits but all the personal health trackers, smart watches...The reasons could be as simple as some of them can take photos, receive texts...etc. I'm surprised that they didn't list Google Glass as well  :D

I can second that for my Civil AM session. They laid quite a few traps in those easy-looking questions. The one that got 0 (can't be too specific here)...you know what I am talking about. 

Wow! At my test location, our proctors clearly mentioned Fitbits were not allowed before both AM and PM sessions. Folks that brought Fitbits to the test got them back at the end of the day but nobody was kicked out. Oh well, Andrew should have known better.

I took the Geotech PM as well. For me, the AM was smooth. I went through the test in the first two hours and ended up solving about 30 questions. I marked the questions that I had doubts on, needed to look up in the reference,  and those that gave me the "hmm". Second round, I went back and...
