I don't think I would have passed if not for the EET review course. Even with all of the notes on the world.

About 20-30 minutes ago I talked to a lady at the board to basically demand that they finally fix my email address and she said that they are still in the process of sending everything out. So hopefully we'll hear before too long.

EET (Ibrahim) for Seismic. I felt like it prepared me very well for the exam...now to see if I screwed it up.

Spending 60% of your time on the WRE topics is probably the better way to go since about 60% of the exam will be on that material. The morning session problems should be very straightforward and easy enough to solve with a decent level of familiarity. The afternoon problems are much tougher...

I don't think you necessarily have to try them one at a time, but I would recommend focusing only on the 8-hour for the first exam period and then on the two CA exams the next exam period. I tried to do all three in April. I really spent so much time studying and preparing for the 8-hour exam...

Felt sort of unsure about how well I did on Surveying. I know there were a bunch that I got right, but I also feel like there were a number that I was clueless on and got wrong. Seismic, though, I'm confident that I passed.

I'm taking the EET (Dr. Ibrahim) Seismic course now for the Oct/Nov exams (my test is Nov 5) and I've got nothing but good things to say about the class. He spends a ton of time on the materials and the class and will spend plenty of time meeting/talking with you personally for any questions...

Fortunately I did pass the 8-hour, so it wasn't a total waste this first time around. I'll check out the Cuomo book, thanks. I will certainly get those CBT exams if nothing else. The test format itself (computer instead of paper) was one of the things that caused me a lot of problems as well...

I'm not terribly surprised, but I failed both of these exams on my first try this April, probably partially because I focused so much on the 8-hour. I seemed to do fine on the calculation questions on both exams, but definition and procedural questions seemed to be my downfall. I felt that way...

I passed the Water Resources exam this April (fortunately my first go at it). I didn't really bring all that much with me: CERM NCEES Practice Problem Sets (most recent and I believe 2000) Wastewater Engineering (didn't really even use this) Equation sheets that I had made up from old notes...

I guess since I didn't receive the email on the CA tests, I have to wait until I get the letters next week. Lame. I'm not on the license lookup page, though, so I'm guessing I'll be retaking something in the fall.
