Preety sure any version will do. I bought a copy with US units from the 80's. Well worth it in my opinion.

My bet is vapor power equipment and gas turbine cycles. You land up doing a lot of mass enthalpy balance with these problems.

YouTube has been the most helpful. There's a good video on using the data, stat, and equation functions to do interperolation. It takes 15 secs using these functions. I used this calculator on the FE and loved it.

Thx. I also thought they were giving me the equation with excess air included because in MERM they generally give the stoic equations without the Nitrogen listed and add it in after excess air is included.

At a minimum from the MERM - Fluid Dynamics, Hydraulic Machines, Thermo Changes, Thermo Properties, a few questions from Compressible Fluids and Combustion, All of Power Cycles, Heat Transfer.

Did you write all your notes in pen? I bought a few eraseable pens to work all my problems.

FYI The version you have is the last edition. Price may be a bit high since that edition was going for $99 new right before the 13th came out. Just my advice.
