I'm in TN, but took the test in KY and my format changed as well.

That's because results won't be released until next year. With such a long span between the test and results, they just needed to narrow it down to month and year.

I took the power test in October and also felt that a large portion of it was theory based. Now the theory is what dives everything else and I feel like I did okay, but honestly I was expecting more calculation questions based on sample tests and my study. It will all come down to what that cut...

Good luck! I'm waiting on results from the April exam and am really hoping I passed. Are you planning on taking the FE in October? The only reason I ask is because after October it will be CBT based and the material covered is a little different. Here is a link to the new specifications in case...

I actually just got a reply from the board and they are in the process of recording scores and printing certificates (for those that passed). Apparently, everyone (in TN) should receive their FE results by the end of next week. Nothing like some more waiting I guess.

Nope. I wish TN would just allow NCEES to release the results instead of having to wait for the board to do whatever they are doing with the information.

If your ultimate goal is to obtain your PE license, some states allow you to sit for the PE exam without passing the FE exam if you have enough experience. For example, in Tennessee you can sit for the PE after 4 years of progressive experience after passing the FE or 12 years of progressive...

So, the FE exam results were released to the state boards on May 17th. Does anyone know how long it typically takes Tennessee to send those results out? I'll be checking verify.tn.gov, but hoped someone had a a little insight.
