    California!

I second this, this is the first time they've dealt with the Seismic being computer-based, no?

I think it's about time we start guessing what time the results will be released. I'm going with tomorrow at 2PM...

Survey Seismic Testing Date / Location

Don't bother with the plane ticket, you can take it in your state...I think it's allowed to be taken at any Prometric location. I have no clue about the date range, though, as it's not posted yet.

Where to sit for a foreign degreed guy? Please help!

My suggestion would be go to the Board's website, check the experience that qualifies for the PE and TE exams, and avoid using terms that would confuse your experience with TE exam experience (if possible). They didn't have problems with my experience, but I know there are people who didn't...

    California!

I think I'm resigned to the fact that if the results aren't released by tomorrow, we won't know our state exam results till after Christmas. So, I might join you guys in refreshing NCEES all day tomorrow if they aren't released today...lol.

Where to sit for a foreign degreed guy? Please help!

I wouldn't suggest California, for the simple fact they like to make people with transportation sit for the Traffic Engineering (TE) exam, not the PE. In other words, you would have to word your qualifications and references carefully in CA.

    Map: October 2012 Exam Results

I'd be willing to bet PA is the last state, CA is probably out by the end of the week, if the past is any indication.

    Failed EIT Test Takers

Agree, I took the PE for the first time this past October, and felt the FE was waaay harder than the PE, because of what the FE covers. It'd definitely be way tougher to take the FE after graduating than before (I took it before graduation and passed the first time).

Any Test Taking Tips for April 2013...

To me, Six Minute Solutions and Godwami's book seemed to be more than enough to study for the exam. And, if you do Transportation, bring the AASHTO Green Book (they asked a lot of stuff that'd be found there).

Just took CA Survey Oct 2012

@goredsox - look at it as a positive that you can even TAKE the CA Survey in the BOSTON area. You definitely would've had to pay for a cross country flight to take that exam last year.

Which Exam - Mechanical or Civil

I'd take the Civil, since you can do more if you pass the Civil portion of the PE versus the Mechanical portion. Also, it sounds as if you have more practical experience in the Civil portion.

Best City to take California PE Exam?

FYI, for this October, the PE Exam will be administered at Del Mar Fairgrounds, not the Convention Center. I signed up to take the exam down there half hoping for the latter (I live in Long Beach, CA and definitely do not want to take the exam at the Pomona Fairplex).
