consider a 100kVA transformer -
Connected phase to phase on 12kv (2 phases of the 3 phase distribution system) it draws 8.3 Amps (each phase) 100*1000/12000=8.3A
Connected to one phase and neutral at 6.9 kV a 100kVA draws 14.4 amps (1.73 time more) 100*1000/6930=14.4A
In simple terms, why is...

The GA Tech review class covers some Econ, but there is no % given to Econ in the question breakdown provided by NCEES. Was there Econ on the test or not?

My GATECH course materials are "printed" copies of handwritten notes, is that acceptable to take in?
If so, could you photocopy (aka print) your own handwritten notes which would be...

Increasingly, I see references to new "green" topics like LED lighting, Energy efficiency, on the Power exam in addition to the ol' standbys.
What have people seen?
What are the questions like?
What references needed?
How to study?
Thanks
I need to work on references for work I did in PA many years ago.
Does PA have a licensing exemption for Elect Engs working in Public Utilities like some other states?
If so, where is this in the PA code ?
Thanks
I graduated BSEE im '84, I passed the EIT at that time. I haven't really done much pure engineering since then, and now I need to take the Power PE in Calif.
I feel like I need to review a LOT, but I want to be efficient about it and go to the test with the necessary reference materials...
