New York License Watch April 2018

I applied for a transfer from CT. I passed the exam in Oct. 2017.  I  sent my paperwork to the state(June 2018) and they told me everything looks good. The person I talked to says they are just waiting for the board to sit and look at the paperwork but they've been quoting 12-16 weeks since...

NYS transfer from CT is taking forever

This is unbelievable (maybe not so much). I've been waiting for more than 16 weeks now. Does anyone have a recommendation on a lawyer in the NYC area who can expedite this?

NYS transfer from CT is taking forever

When did you call? Also, I am also planning to apply for a PLLC (but I'm going to do it in Transportation so it might not need to be a PLLC); dont you need a NYS PIN# to do so?

NYS transfer from CT is taking forever

Hi All, I passed my PE (CT) last year and I applied for a transfer (so I can also get a NYS pin) in August of this year. I called them before September (2018) started they said my paperwork has been approved for the board to review and it would be 12 -16 weeks from that point. I called again...

Been Lurking; want to take the PE in April

Results are in; October cant come soon enough.  I wasn't too confident when I came out so it doesn't surprise me. I started the EET course a month later than their starting date so I didn't really finish all the material but I'll be back with vengeance (I'm gonna pass in Oct). Will start my...

Been Lurking; want to take the PE in April

Great...Thank you! I still have a couple of sections to cover in the depth. I'm on Section 9 (of 15): Signal Warrents. I am hoping to finish by next Tuesday and start practicing. It never seems like you have enough days to cover the material.

Been Lurking; want to take the PE in April

Thats what I was thinking of doing as well, making a sheet with all the relevant conversions.  Did you find that the problems in the EET binder were a guide for solving problems on the exam (in terms of being a step-by-step guide)?

Been Lurking; want to take the PE in April

Hi, just counting the days. Still trying to catch up to the EET videos ( I should be able to by next Wednesday). Did anybody here create a cheat sheet for the EET binders? If so, can somebody share their approach. I am thinking of doing that in addition to labeling the binder with stickies. Thanks.

Yes, I definitely  plan on bringing all the suggested material for the Depth. I should have been clearer; I was asking about the Breath. Thanks.

Been Lurking; want to take the PE in April

Hi Everybody, I've been reviewing the EET Course (Webinar Version) and it seems great so far. I am still on the Breath portion doing the Geometry section. I started studying a bit late because I choose to take the PE in April a bit late.  I am trying to study everyday with full weekends as...

Been Lurking; want to take the PE in April

Hi Everybody, I have been approved to take my PE (the notice came quite late from the board; las week). I was debating taking the PE in April or waiting for October. 2017. I want to take a prep course (EET from what I've read on the forums). I did email them last week but I haven't received a...
