are the courses only good for the AM portion? I notice that the syllabus for the review courses mostly have SE topics but then only a class or two on Lateral/Vertical topics. (The ASCE course has one class on each)

I gave Tom Henry book away. Mostly because it was 2014 and I don't think they would have allowed it at the testing center.

To which Florida electrical contractor practice tests are you referring?

yeah, still waiting on these for my 2011 copy (that code year is used for the Florida contractor exam) I guess I did feel way more lost than practicing 2011 since I didn't have the tabs on this one. I guess it's a matter of simply doing problems over and over.

I don't get why NCEES doesn't release more practice exams. Or better yet, a year long review course. They would make so much money :huh:

if the class is anything like the binder for it, i'd say move on. I don't think that binder helped me in the slightest. Maybe just a tiny bit of confidence boost being able to breeze through the problems

Is there a choice to pick between discipline specific and general civil for the afternoon? It's kinda tough to give advice on passing the exam when you DID study those all topics. The only tip I can even come up with is simply grab all practice question books under the sun and hammer through...

what this some sort of pun? that's how it was for me on the FE, except I probably had ~25 unsolved problems. And I was certain I failed due to me bombing the afternoon.

I suppose SoPE is like any other course. Entirely a crapshoot on whether it'll help any more than self-study.
