    Illinois license number

I was required to take Calculus 1, 2, and 3 and then Intro to Differential Equations. My last semester I took one extra Math course (Intermediate Diff Eq) and was awarded a minor in Mathematics. Yes, lots of math!! And I barely use any of it nowadays :smileyballs:

    Help in Illinois

Did the board reject/return your application or did they just ask for the missing forms? I would suggest that you simply ask your old employers to fill out another form. Also, the PE-VNG form that I sent to the board was not in a sealed envelope and I encountered no problems with getting the...

Which states allow practice problems in the exam room?

From old classmates that I've talked to and now this board, it seems like IL is one of the few states to not allow these. The proctors told us that if a book had problems and worked out solutions in it, then it wasn't allowed no matter who the publisher was. I'm surprised they didn't try to...

Which states allow practice problems in the exam room?

This seems like a strange question to me, but I'm curious about other states. I recently passed the PE in Illinois and the state board here doesn't allow sample exams or practice problem books in the room during the test. The proctors were very thorough in their search for them before the...

Error due to unsigned application?? --Illinois

The process is confusing. The way I understand it is the online application is sent to CTS for the exam. They then will forward it to IDFPR with the results. You still need to submit the experience verification though. I would suggest mailing in another copy of the application (with...

    PE Transportation exam need guidance

The AASHTO Green Book and the CERM are must haves. The morning was all CERM and most of the problems I encountered in the afternoon used the HCM or the Green Book. I caution you though that there's usually one or two questions from each of the other suggested references. It doesn't hurt to...

    ILLINOIS RESULTS - April '11

I failed the exam last Oct. and a diagnostic report came in the mail with a graphical analysis of correct answers for each area (Geotech, WR, Transp. etc.) I thought it was helpful in identifying weak areas. I got it about a week after the results were posted on CTS website. Not sure if they...

Here's the website to check: http://www.continentaltesting.net/OnlineStatus/Login.aspx Make sure you go to the drop down box for IL - IDFPR under the entity heading, then go to 062 Reg. Professional Engineer in the second drop down box. That's were I found my result. Hope that helps.

That was my thinking as well. Makes me wonder if IL has posted the FE results yet though. If they had FE results last week and still haven't posted them, we could be rivaling CA for the last state to get results. Heck... why not! We're already competing with them for the most indebted state...

I thought CTS would just post them right away, since they don't have to "validate them." :oldman:

    Tic Toc

I can see NCEES folks standing around the watercooler today telling stories of their long weekend. They probably won't even log in or sit at their desks until sometime this afternoon.

As I sit here on the 58th day of waiting for PE results, the banner scrolls along with the names of members that passed the FE. I mean no disrepect to the new EIT's (congrats to them), but I can't help but wonder why their results are out before the PE's? There's 180 questions on the FE...

    ILLINOIS - RESULTS

So CTS claims they were given the results last week but NCEES states on their website that PE results will be released the last week of December. Seems like someone isn't being entirely truthful with us. My guess is that it's CTS. :brickwall:

Well the application is still good for 3 years, that hasn't changed. If you don't pass it in that timeframe, then its another $100. I'm assuming that it won't take me more than 6 attempts when I said I shouldn't have to pay them anything else.
