    I'm having a hard time understanding quite a few problems in chapter 9. I hope someone can help me. 9.8. why was drag force calculated from the south end? I am still having a hard time drawing drag force diagram. Can someone show me what the diagram for the two North-South wall look like...

    Okay... to answer my own stupid question.... a few hours later... I found out that this Hiner version has a mistake. E-W direction IS supposed to be CASE 1. FYI for people who's wondering the same thing...

    Yes I have passed the 8 hours... Well, it's really because I'm in between jobs, so I decided to focus on getting my PE for this month... I didn't exactly plan to not work just to study for the test... :-/ Thanks for the advice! I really need to pass these two because a lot of jobs these days...

    Hiner problem #15

    Hello, The solution for problem 15 stated that both N-S direction and E-W directions are CASE 3. I don't understand why they are both CASE 3. Shouldn't one is CASE 1 and the other direction would be CASE 3? I apologize if this is a stupid question... Thank you very much in advance!
