Received my FAIL letter in today's mail - what a way to ruin my holiday weekend.

Took the NCEES practice exam this weekend, Thermal and Fluids depth. I ended up getting a 68% in the breadth and a 68% in the depth. I had to guess on about 10 problems on the depth portion because I ran out of time. I feel pretty good overall with the the exercise, I definitely need to work...

Being in Oregon, this is very frustrating to find out, I truly hope I pass the exam I took in Oct. I really dont like the thought of having to apply in WA in order to keep from waiting 1 year to retake.

What happens if you fail the exam and wish to retake in the spring? The deadline to register for the April exam is December 1st. From all indications, results wont be sent out by then. Is the deadline extended for those that failed the exam and would like to retake?

Yes, waiting does indeed suck! I'm definitely not doing any studying until I receive my pass/fail letter (which will be one of the latest to be delivered based on previous history - Oregon) even though I only feel 50/50 about my results.
