    If you pass the current SEI & SEII do you have to retake them to get licensure in the current states that require SEIII? Is there any 'grandfathering' in of those who pass the current SEI&II?

    AASHTO Changes

    For the April SEI, you need the AASHTO 2007 with 2008 revisions. Would I be at a disadvantage if I get the latest edition with 2008 & 2009 revisions?

    looks like the NCEES referenced standard is now the AASHTO 4th edition, i've got the 2004 3rd edition, do i need the 4th for the April SEI exam?

    Passed Illinois SEII failed SEI I plan on retaking the SEI in April but I have heard you do not have to take it in Illinois. I live in ohio, does anyone know where I can find out about getting the Illinois license through an NCEES exam outside of Illinois?

    I definitely felt better about the SE2 than SE1. The SE1 was tough because you had to move so fast. I felt like I was getting hung up on problems because I was rushing and the time wasted hurt me in other problems. But it is good to be done, good luck to everyone in January!

    Books allowed for SE Exam

    I see, they could be concerned with someone copying problems in a notebook, of course you could copy those in a text or code book as well. I agree on trying to take the high road as much as possible to be safe

    am i missing something, why would putting notes in plastic slip sheets make a difference in terms of whether it is bound or not? it is frustrating, an open book exam should be: any materials allowed, not vague rules on what you can/cannot bring that vary from state to state
