    Last minute procedural question

I am bringing the sample example with my own solutions for each questions, that way I am reminded of a method/technique of solving the type of problem presented. Not exactly pigeon hole-ing, makes a great reference if faced with a similar problem on the actual test and a race against time. Good...

    NCEES #539

You only need the primary voltage to answer this question. Wildi's quoted less than 5% of rated primary voltage is typically applied during SC test, I have read in other books 5 or 10% is typically applied. Of the given answers 5% (5kV) is not aa choice so 10% (10kV) is the answer. Not exactly...

    EE's: The final push

Firstly, it's work as usual, might have to pull some late nights at work this week to make up for the 2 day vacation I'm taking the days before the exam to relax and refresh my mind. +1 on the sample exam, work the problems and check back on this board for discussions on the solution. Within the postings are plenty of links to online documentation on study references (though mostly Power).

Q about new PE Power exam format

Thanks everyone for the great tips, I deal with the NEC daily on the job (already possess a 2008 NEC handbook) so that is definitely one book I have no problem getting familiar with ;)

Q about new PE Power exam format

Hi all, I'm try to get a headstart on studying for the Oct '10 Power exam. I have been curious about this new exam format for Electrical, does it mean that the AM and PM sessions are now all in-depth Power questions rather than the general AM and in-depth PM prior to 2009?

CAMARA book for Power exam prep

I'm starting to gather materials to prepare for the October EE Power PE test. I curious about "The Electrical Engineering Reference Manual for the Power, Electrical and Electronics, and Computer PE Exams (EERM8), 8th Edition by John A. Camara" It still shows all three concentrations even...
