Okay so looking at the morning econ question #102 I dont get why they are saying that $50,000 * (1+(P/F,10%,2)?? Shouldn't we have a total period of n=4? also why 1+?? Can someone walk me through this im feeling stupid.

Okay, so I failed for the 5th time in a row and im really getting irritated about it. I need to pass this test come October!! So hear are my results from the April exam. If you guys could give me any pointers on what areas to study that would be great also any other books I should bring with me...

So after taking the 2008 April exam with the power module are there any recomended books that I should get other then the ones that would have been recommended having not known what the 2008 April exam would entail? To say the least I didn't study up on transformers that much and figure I bomed...

Well since I work for the state and my salary info is public knowledge already I have no problem posting numbers. Currently im at the bottom of Range C so 5,904. You can only recive whats called Range D if you hold the beloved PE. Hear is what I get now. Range A $4,579 to $5,253 Range B $5,199...

Acctually no.....I work for the state of California so in a way you could say I will have less responsibility.......My position with the state is few and far between but I cant complain. Just need to pass that PE to reap the benifits.....oh and yes I do get reimbursed for my test taking efforts...

Well...I guess im the guy everyone is going to hate. With out the PE im expecting a 10% raise next month!! For passing the PE I get a 12% raise plus I move up a pay range allowing me to top my salary out at 20K more then Im currently at in ADDITION to the 10% raise I get in July.

So I figured I would start the Cali thread even though we have not heard anything. But if my memory serves me correctly the last four times I have taken this test...by now we should have at least had news on a proposed result date. However we have nada...so what are your guys thoughts on that?

So I understand the poles and stuff but how did they determine that each pole/zero contributes +-20Db?
