    SE Exam Scoring Workshop

I haven't lost hope.  It's 4pm CST roughly.  I got my Lateral results in April at 3:30 ish on a Friday.

me too.  They released both the PE and SE on the same Friday last December.

    WA Results

Similar situation.  One would hope that the state boards, regardless of their hindrances, can at least give NCEES the green-light to show results.

    WA Results

Yup.  AR Pels is usually pretty fast so maybe they'll handle it all out of office and permit NCEES to release the results.

Arkansas PELS is closed today and tomorrow but they claim to be checking their voicemail and email.  I'm waiting on SE anyways and I don't think those have been released.

^David's books are already updated for the 7th edition.

    SE Bridge Review Material/Course?

I'm a bridge engineer and I still found David Connor's book really useful.  It's really all the morning review you should need.  It was useful for the Bridge PM as well.  Wait for the updates to 7th edition. If you don't have access to the full AASHTO code,  AASHTO sells a condensed copy of the...

Is it worth it to take the SE exam?

I chatted online with an NCEES rep earlier this year and I seemed to get a strong indication that the codes would change this Fall.  Also, I don't see AASHTO changing without the ACI changing as AASHTO 7th Edition had major changes to Section 5 Concrete consistent with the changes in ACI 318-14.

    Lateral bridge PM study material

Seismic Design Category D? Don't you mean Seismic Zone 4? :)   If you are proficient using the Guide Specs, it shouldn't be too hard to switch over to the LRFD Bridge Specs.  There is a NHI "LRFD Seismic Analysis and Design of Bridges Reference Manual" (FHWA-NHI-15-004) that compares both...

    Lateral bridge PM study material

One great piece study material for me was Illinois DOT Seismic Guidelines:.http://www.idot.illinois.gov/assets/uploads/files/doing-business/memorandums-&-letters/highways/bridges/bm-design-guides/bm 3.15 seismic design.pdf  This was a great exercise in calculating the stiffness and periods...

    SE: Vertical or Lateral First?

Just passed Lateral Bridge first try.  In the months prior to registration, I had been doing a lot of seismic design at work, so I felt the lateral would be easier.   If you split the test up, I think you should look at your practice tests and ask yourself which component are you more...

    Recommended References (Building Tract)

Get David Connor's book for Bridge Review.  They really are all you'll need for the morning Bridge Questions.  Seriously.

    2016 April Results released

Thanks! I felt very prepared and I was very confident about my morning score and about my afternoon score on the last two problems.  But I was really sweating the first PM problem because I felt my answers were not neat enough.  I was really expecting something like 35/40, unacceptable...

Bridge Problems for the Structural Engineering (SE) Exam: Vertical Loads

David,  I bought your book new from amazon since I already have an account; hopefully it's all the same to you.  I'll buy the lateral as soon as you finish it. Ahilan,  thanks for the help! And to the both of you, I will consider the SEAOC volumes 2-5.  I really appreciate the advice.
