I think 8-10 weeks is a long time to wait too. But there's literally nothing I or anyone else can do about it. We decided to be engineers, take the test and get a license. Honest question. What does being active in this thread do in regards to your exam results? If you're saying you won't be here after you get your results, then just leave now lol. Most people won't be here after the results. But coming on here and trying to light everything on fire won't get your...

Which is why they're transitioning everything over to CBT. I don't get your point.

You want multiple licensing boards handling engineering exams and dishing out engineering licensing recommendations, which would presumably end up using their own standards and processes? That's a quick slippery slope to totally decimating the integrity of a P.E. license.

How much more transparency than "8-10 weeks" do you need? 8-10 weeks, we're not even at 7 full weeks yet. People are acting like NCEES told us results will be out in 4 weeks and we're still waiting.

The laughing reactions plus the others, followed up by the following response should be enough hint that the post was being sarcastic. Results will come out when they come out. NCEES says 8-10 weeks (56-70 days). We're at 47 days.

That's exactly why it takes so long to schedule the meeting. People have better things to do than take 4-5 days out of their lives to meet in SC and set a cut score. It's tough to put together enough volunteers to get a valid exam cut score. Sure they can produce an exam score with 3 engineers...

NCEES posts the exam specifications on their website, and we can see which ones are new and when they are new. Nothing anybody's doing here is rocket science; its just tracking patterns and taking SWAGs at when things typically happen following patterns that largely don't mean much.

Every exam does need a cut score meeting. Only the ones that are new exams/specifications occur later in the cycle. Exam results won't be released until after all exams have a cut score. The weighting values were hypothetical examples.

I kinda really want the results today. And also kinda really want to see a complete meltdown on The Suck thread today with results tomorrow. 

If we haven't already reached it, I feel like we're on the doorstep of anarchy right now.
