2014 NEC Code Book or the Handbook

I am debating whether to get the Handbook instead of the the code book. Price though is more than twice the code book but it has sample calculations in it. I never did any code related calculations in my line of work so doing NEC problems is really tough. Appreciate any suggestions. Taga_Ilog
