How do i determine if T-beam is prestressed?

Can you show us some pictures? I think normally a prestressed T-beam doesn’t look like a T. But parking structures have exactly T-shape prestressed T-beams as flooring members.

Hello all. I am a 4th time PE exam but I am still preparing myself to finally pass

My work experiences are very broad but shallow. I’ve never done any actual structural design using US codes. I’m almost a civil guy not structural. I chose structural depth because I’m running a structural engineering firm now. I’m a newbie with very good engineering concepts. The PM problems...

Hello all. I am a 4th time PE exam but I am still preparing myself to finally pass

AM exam is very easy. I guess I had 39/40 or even 40/40. I didn't prepared well for PM exam because I didn't do much structural work. I worked in Civil but have no any water treatment education & experiences. I chose to take structural PM exam. I guess I had 18/40 in PM. I knew I passed when I...

    RETAINING WALLS

Because soil capacity uses Safety Factor. Safety Factor = ASD. LRFD = Yield Design. Soil won't yield so it's ASD. Wood won't yield so it's ASD as well.
