    Structural Depth April 2018

That's what you got for construction depth?  My co-worker failed a few cycles ago with 55. it does change every cycle.

    Structural Depth April 2018

I’m not sure that’s true. My co worker failed with a score of 51 and another failed with a score of 55.

    Structural Depth April 2018

Correct. I believe if you read in the water resources forum, their typical “passing” score is 45/80. It varies between depths and exam cycles. However, I think structural has been consistent at around 56/80.

    Structural Depth April 2018

I really don't know how they'll score it. I don't think it could go against you to answer a question thrown out correctly. Results should be coming out soon!! How did others do on the exam?

    Structural Depth April 2018

When you fail, you receive your diagnostics.  It shows how many you got right in each category of the exam. For folks ONLY in Texas, they are given their percentage score for passing or fail.  Sometimes when results comes out, the examinees in texas can help with finding out the "cut score" and...

    Structural Depth April 2018

It’s hard to guess what the cutoff score will be but it looks like 56 has been the most probable passing score. I’ve seen on here someone failing structural with a score of 55/80.

    Structural Depth April 2018

Each exam that I’ve taken have been very different from each other. I would say, they all are similar in difficulty but maybe had more emphasis in one area more than another. I felt this one was the most challenging for me when it came to looking up codes. The last two times, I didn’t struggle...

    Structural Depth April 2018

Exactly how I felt! I kept saying to myself “omg, f this...omg f me” I kept thinking maybe I’m the idiot who can’t find anything in the code books. I’m glad I’m not the only one. I thought EET was great, but I barely used anything from EET for the depth; or at least for the problems I was able...

    Structural Depth April 2018

I’ve taken this exam two other times and this was the first that I had difficulty answering any theory or code questions. I hope we get some more feedback from others. I took EET and maybe I was so bummed out by the questions that I didn’t look up how to do some problems in my eet manual, but...

    Structural Depth April 2018

How did you feel about the structural depth exam? I felt the morning depth was the easiest I’ve had (third time test taker). However, I lack in a lot for the depth. I had a lot of trouble even on the quick look up in the manual questions. I couldn’t find any of the manual questions! It was so...

    EET simulation test experience

I signed up for the structural depth only for EET. I'm not sure if this is allowed, but any chance someone can share with me the breadth simulated exam and solutions?

Help: EET Course - On Demand

Anyone taking EET right now? The on demand is frustrating. The table of contents doesn’t match what is in the binder. Im still finding myself spending a lot of time trying to figure out which section goes with which videos and still cannot find. Power points don’t match with parts of what’s in...

Help: EET Course - On Demand

I just emailed the instructors. However, after I did, I went to EET’s website and they gave the live webinar’s schedule so I printed it off and will follow its schedule. I was worried I wouldn’t have time the next 12 weeks to do all the videos but now that I see the schedule, I’m not behind at all.

Help: EET Course - On Demand

It's not as straight forward as I thought, but i guess i'll just play around and figure it out.  For example, the title of the first section in the binder is " Part I - Analysis of Structures".  However, the video for this is found under "Loads" sub folder (not in the "Analysis" folder given the...

Help: EET Course - On Demand

I signed up for the EET on demand course (structural depth) and starting it today. Is there a class schedule that I can follow? I feel like I’m missing something. I was given the instructions on how to reach the videos and then the big binder and that’s it. I don’t even know where to start. The...

Failed Structural Depth AGAIN. 3x's the Charm?

I will have to change my study habits because it obviously isn’t working. I will take your advice since I have not been utilizing and studying as well as I should be.

Failed Structural Depth AGAIN. 3x's the Charm?

I hope the next four months is enough time to do EET depth and build on breadth. I have to pass this time around or it’ll be very difficult to get up again and try. I’m not the best test taker and questions easily trip me up. I found the last exam was difficult for me as there were more...

Failed Structural Depth AGAIN. 3x's the Charm?

Thank you for all the encouragement.  I really need it.  It feels hopeless at times.  Below are my diagnostics from my April and Oct 2017 results for Civil - Structural.  Any feedback will be nice.

Failed Structural Depth AGAIN. 3x's the Charm?

Unfortunately, I failed the PE structural depth exam again.  I will be attempting it for the 3rd time this coming April 2018.  I am very frustrated and worried I will not be able to pass.  I did not graduate with civil engineering and do not practice structural engineering in my profession. ...
