Seeing actual apparent power more than generator's rated apparent power confuses me as well. But I don't think if you can multiply base apparent power 500 MVA with PF to find actual real power. Correct me if I am wrong tho.

No. You don't have to study fluids and thermo for Machine Design and Materials exam.  It used to test all the discipline on AM section but it does not anymore.

No it doesn't get added to the afternoon session. If you finish early on the morning session you can use the remaining available time to check and recheck your answers.

I bought and tried to read through Protective Relaying Principles and Applications, Blackburn but it's notoriously difficult to follow this book.

They have specific instruction do not register at NCEES without board approval. Even when I talked with them on phone they said the same thing. 

How useful is this book for Power PE preparation? Considering to other references like engproguides, graffeo, NCEES and now extra focus on Protection books. I bought one but I don't think i will have enough time to practice CI.

All my documents and records should be fine. I just wonder when they would notify me April 2019 PE exam approval. We are already in the second week of December.
